01. Complete original/supplementary labeling, lot/batch, origin, shelf life and SKU/shipment traceability.

02. Retain records for post-clearance review and comparison against later shipments.

03. Reassess when intended use, supplier/origin, process, ingredients, packaging, or plain→seasoned condition changes.

Target state: correct identity → correct intended use → correct HS → correct quarantine/food-safety/medicinal branch → correct VAT/C/O → aligned and traceable records.

Clearance is not the end: changing the purpose from food to medicinal or adding seasoning/sugar can completely change the HS and specialist dossier for the next shipment.
