PROJECTOR EXPORT GUIDE FROM VIETNAM
Projectors are not a one-policy product. DLP/LCD/LCoS architecture, lamp/LED/laser light source, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth, embedded OS and lithium batteries can change HS classification, market compliance and transport planning.
This guide follows the required sequence: product → market → HS/origin → compliance → documents → E2E process → post-shipment. 2025 commercial shipment records support the United States as a prominent destination and also show actual Vietnam-to-Japan projector shipments.

4. VIETNAM EXPORT CONDITIONS
An ordinary new consumer/commercial projector should not be labelled “licence-free” purely from its name. Final review must cover exact model, functions, laser source, battery, end-use and current controlled-goods rules.
Review Vietnam foreign-trade and product-policy rules together with technical documents. High-power laser demonstration equipment or special defence/security end-use requires a separate track.

Use FCA/FOB where the buyer controls main carriage; CIP/CIF where the seller arranges freight/insurance; DAP where the seller controls delivery to destination but the buyer handles import. Air suits small urgent/high-value lots; LCL reduces minimum volume but increases handling; FCL reduces handling for larger lots. Optical equipment requires shock/moisture protection and packing evidence. Lithium-battery models require DG screening before booking.
